Download Candidatos 2022 – Political Video Library, Brazilian Elections, Candidate Speeches
Overview
Candidatos 2022 is an Android application developed by Tomorrow Thoughts, designed as a centralized video library for political candidates participating in Brazil’s 2022 elections. The app serves as a resource for voters seeking to understand candidates’ positions through direct access to recorded speeches, offering a non-partisan platform for information gathering. It includes content from current and past candidates running for various offices, including president, federal deputy, and senator.
The primary purpose is to support informed decision-making by enabling users to review unedited, publicly available speeches without editorial bias. The app does not include commentary, analysis, or political opinions, ensuring that users engage directly with original source material. It is intended for use by voters, civic educators, journalists, and political analysts who value transparency and direct access to candidate statements.
The application is accessible to a broad audience, particularly those interested in Brazilian electoral politics. It operates entirely through pre-recorded video content sourced from public media channels and official campaign materials. The developer did not provide additional context about the app’s development philosophy or data sourcing methodology beyond its stated objective.
Key Features & Capabilities
- Comprehensive Video Archive – The app aggregates speeches from presidential, deputy, and senate candidates, allowing users to browse content by office and candidate name.
- Non-Partisan Content Delivery – All videos are direct recordings of candidate speeches, presented without editorial framing or political commentary.
- Search and Filter Functionality – Users can locate specific candidates or speeches by name, office, or topic, improving navigation within the library.

- Historical Content Access – In addition to current candidates, the app includes past speeches from previous election cycles, providing context for political evolution.
These features support real-world use cases such as voter education, academic research, and public debate preparation. For example, a voter can compare a candidate’s current position with past statements by reviewing archived speeches. Journalists may use the app to verify claims or track policy shifts.
The ability to share videos facilitates civic engagement by allowing users to circulate evidence-based content. The app’s focus on original recordings ensures authenticity and reduces the risk of misinformation. However, the developer did not specify the number of videos, the frequency of updates, or the exact sources of the recordings.

The video player is integrated directly into the app, allowing for playback without leaving the interface.
Navigation is intuitive, with a bottom menu bar and clear categorization. The workflow is designed to minimize steps between selecting a candidate and watching a speech. The developer did not specify resource usage details, such as CPU or RAM consumption, nor did they provide performance benchmarks.
General observations suggest the app operates smoothly on devices meeting the minimum OS requirement. Stability is expected to be consistent given the app’s reliance on pre-recorded media rather than real-time processing.
